Picked up some frames on Ebay specifically to try a reglaze service for the first time.
Spoke with Andrew on the phone and, as I’m local, arranged to visit the laboratory. Once there it was clear that the main business is in providing lenses for many local opticians – this is obviously an established business that is now offering services to individuals too. He talked me through my options and measured my pupil position.
A week later I collected my new glasses. After a couple of weeks of wearing them I am delighted to say that they are great and have really good quality lenses, correctly positioned and as described.
